Live Demo Sketches

Some sketches done while doing a live demo in Sydney last year! In the demo I go through an introduction to concept art, creature and character design - and through a thumbnail sketching process in Photoshop I show how doing a whole bunch of small silhouette sketches first can create more original and creative designs for your final. I also get people to vote on which thumbnail sketch to choose, answer questions from the crowd and explain my process as I take the chosen thumbnail to a more finished colour sketch. I think it went really well and although it was only the second time I'd tried it I had a blast and am looking forward to doing more in future.
