Hey I'm Austen, a full time independant artist, graphic novelist, concept artist & illustrator specializing in horror, fantasy and scifi character & creature designs from Perth, Western Australia.
I have 11+ years experience working freelance internationally in the entertainment industry for films, videogames, comics, album artworks and more, as well as exhibiting & selling my artwork to fans at pop culture conventions around Australia & internationally online.
I've been drawing all my life and since graduating Curtin University in 2011 I've done a variety of freelance work from album covers to concept art and illustration for video games, film projects and other publications.
I'm also developing and working on my own IP art book project 'EXECUTION', my own post apocalyptic mix of science fiction, fantasy and horror, with a whole world of characters and creatures.
Other self piblished art books are the dark collections of personal paintings in the 'My Shadows' art book (now in it's 8th Edition), traditional horror art in the "Scary Sketches" art book series (6th Edition). I also enjoy creating tutorials and videos on my Patreon & YouTube channel.
